Nigeria continues to see an uproar in the “EndSARS” Protest. As at yesterday 20th October 2020, the youth evaded the Lagos Port Complex Apapa and the Tin Can Island Port Complex, restricting movement in and out of the ports. As the youth continues to protest against the “Police Brutality”, there has been mass destruction of properties and loss of lives.

Videos circulating on social media this morning shows a building believed to be the Head Quarters of Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) being set ablaze. The incident occurred this morning in Lagos Island where the head office of the NPA is situated.

A police station has also been set ablaze in addition to about five police stations which were burnt down yesterday. Currently, the situation at the destination of destruction is unknown, but it quite certain that torching of properties is not ending anytime soon as the youth rage in anger.
